BTI Payments, part of Banktech Australia was one of the few companies licensed by RBI in 2013 to start a White Label ATMs in India. White Label ATMs were intended to revolutionize banking and access to cash and other financial services in the small towns and villages, by enabling penetration of ATM _ cash availability in these under-penetrated _ under-serviced regions of India.
The focus at Bloombox with this branding exercise was to address these essential aspects of the business / service with the brand name and identity;
_ comprehendible / easily recognisable across India.
_ one that overcomes all literacy, language, age barriers.
_ establishes a non-bank dealing with ATM as a service.
_ connects with the consumer needs and behaviour; that triggers easy adoption to The New Product Concept from a new unfamiliar brand.
A universally understood, recognised, usable, replay-able name and promise based on the core insight of access _ availability of ‘ones own money’ absolutely anywhere x anytime x anyone in India.
